Process Engineer
Job Description
The Process Engineer role is defined as an important role in growing a high-performing company. The role constitutes a variety of tasks, tasks, as a consequence of the current scale-up phase of the company.
Primary responsibilities
- Involvement in engineering and construction of ZEG plants.
- Participation in development and design of new technology and solutions as well as system and plant configurations and concepts. Process modelling and simulation (steady-state and transient)
- Contribute to the realization of the first-of-a-kind, upscaled 1 MW ZEG-H2 plant for clean hydrogen production.
- Contribute to further optimization of the 1 MW class system for series production and roll-out. Contribute to further upscale of the technology to medium and large-scale plants. Contribute to commercial roll-out.
- For first 1 MW plant, participate in shift rotation, data analysis and troubleshooting during commissioning and initial operation period.
- Support CTO, Technical Team members, and Management Team as required, as cross-function contributions will be key to success.
Qualifications & skills
- Master level engineering degree, preferably within process, chemistry and/or oil & gas.
- Preferred background from technology and process development.
- Experience from relevant industry (process, chemistry and/or oil & gas).
- Competency/experience within process vessels in general and fluidized bed reactors in particular is highly beneficial. Additionally, competency/experience within 2 or 3 phase flow, separation, chemical looping, high temperature systems and gas processing is advantageous.
- Experience with process simulation tools (HYSYS/Aspen Plus or similar) and knowledge to CAD-tools (AutoCAD PID/Plant 3D or similar), and/or other engineering tools is beneficial.
- Motivated, engaged, structured, proactive, team oriented, the ability to get things efficiently done with high level of integrity.
