Project Engineering Manager

Job Description
The Project Engineering Manager will join the growing project execution team in ZEG Power. The role constitutes diverse tasks in the area of project engineering and realisation, coordination of engineering within disciplines and overall system as well as within sub-systems and packages. ZEG Power is in a phase of scaling-up the company and its technology and delivering projects. The Project Engineering Manager position will be highly involved in all aspects of the related activities. The Project Engineering Manager reports to the Chief Operation Officer (COO).

Primary responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of technical coordination in execution of projects
• Conversion of the customer’s technical needs and requirements for the delivery
• Coordination of all involved technical disciplines and stakeholders form study through concept and tender to delivery
• Accountable for the project’s technical documents
• Assisting Project Manager in populating, planning and delivering master document list, alignment of technical and safety resources and capacity
• Coordinating interfaces and full system integration to ensure a successful plant delivery
• Contribute to the realisation of the first-of-a-kind, upscaled ZEG H1 plant (to be installed at CCB Energy Park, Kollsnes, outside Bergen in Norway, together with the company’s industrial partners)
• Contribute to the optimisation and industrialisation of the ZEG technology.
• Contribute to other activities and support the rest of the ZEG Power team as required.

• Master level degree within relevant fields
• 5-10 years of experience from relevant industry (process, chemistry and/or oil & gas)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven supervisory and technical skills and several years of engineering experience
• Preferred background and experience from successful management of complex and industrial EPC projects
• Fluent in written and oral English, Norwegian/Swedish/Danish is an advantage
